VERSABOND - (STRUCTURAL ADHESIVE)
PRODUCT (Conforms to C.G.S.B. Spec 71GP24M & 71GP25M)
Versabond structural adhesive is based on synthetic rubber and tackifying resins. It is uniquely designed to form a "bridge" between two bonding surfaces. It is not a contact adhesive, so repositioning is possible for up to 20 minutes. It forms a strong flexible and waterproof bond.
APPLICATION
Versabond structural adhesive is a specially formulated adhesive used for gypsum wallboard, vinylboard, foam board insulation, paneling, and other construction materials. Versabond should be used when bonding to wood or metal studs, concrete or block walls.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE: (Gypsum Wallboard to Wood or Metal Studs)
Apply a 0.6 cm zig-zag bead to framing members with hand caulking gun. Place wallboard on framing members and press firmly into place. Use fasteners 400 mm 0.C around the perimeter of the wallboard and as required in the field of the board. installation is easier and faster. Nail pops are reduced when using wood studs. Reduces drumming effect associated with the use of metal studs. When foam board insulation, vinylboard or panelling are applied to wood or metal studs, the same technique as above should be used.

CAUTION: Contains flammable solvents. Take suitable fire precautions. Do not allow smoking or welding in working areas. Keep away from heat and open flame. Use in well ventilated areas. Harmful if swallowed.
